2023-2024 STEAM Fair Information
Kindergarten through 3rd grade projects are due in October and 4th - 6th grade projects are due in January. The kindergarten - 3rd grade students will present their projects in-person to 6th grade students. This will increase our inter-grade level connections at Indian Hills and help our 6th graders better understand how to create a STEAM Fair project. 4th - 6th grade students will present their projects online to community members. This will increase our sense of the science community beyond Indian Hills and allow students more time to complete their projects.
Types of Projects:
- Science projects use the scientific process to answer a question.
- Engineering projects use the engineering design process to build a prototype to solve a problem.
- Art projects are inspired by and explain a science or engineering phenomenon.
